A homegrown Belizean photographer following a dream of capturing memories and making people smile...

Hi everyone. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Tomás Gongora, Belizean Photographer, Videographer, DJ and overall Marketing Solutionist. I've been in the visual arts field my entire adult life, beginning my career as a graphic designer and working my way up into photography and video editing in my home country of Belize since the early 2000s.

I got my lucky break into photography when a concert promoter friend of mine named Garth Guthrie of NuffMuzik Promotions needed a last minute photographer to cover a concert starring world-renowned dancehall reggae artist, Beenie Man, along with D'Angel, Anthony Cruz and others.

I jumped on the opportunity and haven't looked back since. As a DJ, shooting live shows brings me great joy as it gives me the opportunity to be in an element where I can enjoy music and make memories simultaneously. I'll be posting throwback blogs as time goes by and will be adding snippets from new shoots as well.

Over the years, photography has been an integral part of my marketing career because it makes life so mush easier when you can bring your own visions to life. I have, however, continued to shoot concerts, weddings, portraits and so much more. I FINALLY decided to create a website and blog specifically for my photo and video work and the gallery below is just a small sample of what's to come!

I won't be rambling on about my gear, as over the years I have made do with a variety of instruments.
